We are planning a Super-Event for the Vic region for September. It will be an amazing event involving all three LCs in Vic, as well as inviting externals, partners, alumni and it will be a celebration of 60 years of AIESEC. So we are looking for people interested in being on the OC team. There will be an overseeing OC team of three, and then four organising sub-committee teams. So there are lots of spots. 4. PBOX: Community and Development Issues Affecting India

India contains one of the world's fastest growing economies, which
supports a booming population set to overtake China in the near future.
It is a country with massive potential for further economic growth, but
is currently facing various issues that slow its progress, stagnating
development.

AIESEC, as part of the Australia-India Young Entrepreneur Program,
presents a forum titled Community and Development Issues Affecting
India.

The forum will provide individuals with valuable insight into the
significance of India as a leader in the Asia Pacific region, rich in
diverse cultural experiences, and aims to address the issues of poverty,
corruption, and the effect of HIV/AIDS within Indian society.

The forum will include keynote speeches from experts in those fields,
followed by general discussion and debate. Participants will have the
opportunity to address any questions they may have to individual
experts, or to the panel as a whole, engaging in an enlightening
dialogue that encompasses the country's increasingly global identity.

WHEN: Wednesday 21 May
TIME: 5.30pm - 7.30pm
WHERE: Wright Theatre, Medical Building (4th Floor), University
of Melbourne

5. Guest Speaker James Murphy - Owner of Kerekere
For those of you who missed James' presentation, he has kindly donated a copy of the Kerekere DVD to AIESEC so let Preethi know if you want to borrow and view it!
